Asili means 'Origin' in Swahili. We believe in a contemporary Africa proud of its roots, refined in its craftsmanship, and warm in its hospitality.
“Asili” is a Swahili word for source, root, what is authentic. The house was born at 1200 Logements, Ouagadougou, around a simple idea: to bring together under one roof African designer fashion, a generous table, room scents and gatherings.

Every piece carries the name of the person who made it: Ouagadougou workshops, Faso Dan Fani weavers, bronze casters and leather workers. We would rather show a short, hand-picked selection than an endless catalogue.
